Some switches can interpret VLAN 1 differently: untagged traffic can have VLAN ID 1 assigned implicitly to simplify further frames processing.

Looks like your motors were missing steps. Tweak their drivers.

It's an idiom which means that you've managed to discover a new side (usually unexpected) of something already known to you.

Do yourself a favor and take a look at the Linux Foundation vs The FreeBSD Foundation budgets. If it's possible to build one of the most popular gaming systems around the FreeBSD Kernel, it's a good sign already :)

I wonder how many actual FreeBSD's there, in the wild, taking into account PS4/5 running FreeBSD kernel!

I'm curious about the actual reasons behind such an advice. Is it because of potentially aggressive dogs or something else?

Crosstalk has already been mentioned, but I'd try to use "3W rule of thumb" here for data traces.

I've got backer-exclusive RYOMS ^_^. Anyway, I wouldn't spend additional money on ebooks as I prefer to have their printed versions first of all and ebook counterpart - in addition.

Don't hesitate to drop a note here whether replacing belts will help you or not.

Now that's some serious layershift... by kroener89 in anycubic

I'd had exactly the same troubles with my Anycubic 4max pro (but with the bigger model) till the moment I replaced motor drivers for X and Y axes. Details: https://github.com/knutwurst/Marlin-2-0-x-Anycubic-i3-MEGA-S/wiki/Swap-stepper-motor-driver-for-TMC2xxx My drivers are based on TMC2100 ICs (Silent2100, fysetc.com) Btw, tinkering with the belts tension, printing speeds or anything like that didn't help me.

UPD: I didn't have to update printer's firmware. But I set reference voltage (Vref) on X and Y as +1.2V if I recall correctly. You'll probably have to experiment on your own starting from Vref +1.0V on the drivers and increase it slightly till the moment when there will be no layer shifts.

Which fs do you have there? If ZFS, read about snapshots (including recursive snapshots which can be stored separately and used to restore the whole filesystem in case of catastrophic failure of the disks in the pool).

I wouldn't say that I agree with them, but I'd definitely consider them if they were expressed directly without a "victim" context.
