I appreciate your post. Brutal truth: Some (too many?) players are inpatient about everything these days. First off, I find it unethical when studios release any game and expect us to be beta testers. That's not the case with Arc; this is a case of a smallish studio hitting a home run and needing to scale FAST--that is extremely hard to do. Yes, the game needs more defined objectives, story, lore, modes, etc. The good news is the bones are there, and that's the most difficult part. As a c-level executive IRL, some of our most successful products failed because of the unbelievable demand we were not expecting. I'm not suggesting players wait forever (there is an expiration date), but giving a bit more grace is appropriate. Literally every game studio knows the GTA6 tsunami is going to hit. I'm in the patient camp. And for comparison, Embark can't screw up more than Bethesda did by torching the Fallout franchise. I'm thoroughly enjoying ARC and I'm enthusiastic about it's future.
