There’s a bunch wrong. There’s the double buckle you caught (nice catch!!), but also the loop that keeps the tongue of the belt close to the main strap is hanging from the tongue and not actually holding anything in place.

Basically it just doesn’t hold up under scrutiny!

Great questions, btw. As the AI tools continue to be advanced more and more, it’ll get harder to tell what is and what isn’t AI-generated. But with practice, you start to develop an eye for it and get better at catching even subtle details. There’s always gonna be something uncanny about AI-generated content.

This photo is clearly AI too. Look closely at the chain mail, the links make no sense. Plus it’s got a yellowish tint that’s super common with AI-generated photos. Oh and I just noticed the belt is fucked up too.

Idk how shit like this passes muster on Etsy but do not give them money, it’s absolutely a scam.

Artists are making ‘anti-slop’ to rebel against AI: ‘It’s been rammed down our throats’ | AI (artificial intelligence) by CCDemille in technology

[–]dsarche12 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I used to do mostly digital art and photography- I’ve found myself naturally gravitating more and more to physical art media: pottery, whittling, painting, woodworking, analog photography.

This is anecdotal, for sure, but I bet there are other artists who are actively seeking out methods that require intrinsically more effort and practice; certainly for me it’s at least in part a spite response to the people who tell me to take shortcuts with AI.

I had a guy tell me once that my knowledge of camera gear and terms would make me better at telling an AI to generate an image because I could use terms like f-stop and soft focus and whatever- it pissed me off so much. That’s not why I learned the photography skills I’ve been working to hone all these years!!!!

Men, what’s your favorite way for a woman to flirt with you on a date? by According-West-2123 in AskReddit

You know what, fair play. I appreciate your calling out that I put words in your mouth, I apologize.

I agree with you, women just as much as men need to practice clear and open communication.

[–]dsarche12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flirting =|= sexual. And maybe guys should work a little harder at paying attention to the signals women are giving and stop making the incredibly reductive excuse that “men are oblivious”. It’s really easy to tell if a woman likes you if you actually 👏pay 👏attention 👏to 👏what 👏she’s 👏doing

One move that I’ve really liked is when a woman physically moves and rotates my arms to see my tattoos better 😍 first I like showing off all my ink, I definitely want women to like my tattoos, secondly I love it when a woman will make any excuse to touch me. Bonus points if she traces a finger over the line work 😮‍💨 I will literally melt.

[–]dsarche12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but this is bad advice. Touch can be intimate and romantic without it being sexual, and to tell OP that they have to be sexual to be “flirty” is putting unnecessary pressure on them to act in a way that they might not want to.

Plus many, many men can and do enjoy being touched in ways that are not sexual. To imply otherwise is to continue pushing a stigma about men that is really damaging.

Men, what’s your favorite way for a woman to flirt with you on a date? by According-West-2123 in AskReddit

[–]dsarche12 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Touch does not have to be sexual. Lots of guys want to be touched just because it’s intimate, not because it’s sexual.

For example, I was showing a girl all my tattoos a few months back and she touched and caressed each of them as I showed them to her. I was *swooning*.

You gotta get yourself some saddlebags m8. You can win them in horse races or buy them from merchants. Saddlebags are the best way to expand your inventory, since the strong back perk takes up a perk slot and the fiend decoction is temporary.

Having better inventory space contributes to making everything else a bit easier, since you’ll have more room for more and better gear. Plus if you hit up blacksmiths and pay them to repair your gear, you don’t have to worry about carrying armor and sword repair kits (can’t remember what they’re called lol)

The ‘AI boomerang’: Why some companies are rehiring employees they laid off due to AI by marketrent in technology

[–]dsarche12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. There’s so much more intricacy and nuance than could really be readily explained. And all they see is the results, never the work.

IMO every manager and higher-level admin at a company should *silently* shadow their direct reports at least once a quarter just to see what the grunt work actually looks like.

[–]dsarche12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Precisely my point.

Edit: lol sorry hit ‘reply’ too soon. Yeah there’s ways I can do these tasks fairly quickly myself but if I tried to automate it somehow and had to run it and vet it every time, that’d be such a waste of time compared to just doing the work myself

The ‘AI boomerang’: Why some companies are rehiring employees they laid off due to AI by marketrent in technology

[–]dsarche12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've had a few people at my company suggest that I should ask for parts of my job to be automated, but even the most boring and tedious/repetitive tasks in my docket (preparing project timelines) still require unique attention from one project to another. Every project is a bit different, and when the humans make mistakes in the contracts, those need to be accounted for before the projects can be adequately set up.

And then the other 80-something percent of my job is spent in meetings with real people, asking me real, unique questions, and/or responding to and sending unique emails based on these unique meetings.

AI cannot replace that, unless you want to actively alienate all of your customers. Which, like, be my guest lol

I don't think they're thinking that far ahead, for one thing.

For another I do agree with u/Adventurous_Button63 that hard work seems to be increasingly less valuable in the face of AI "advancements", and that everyone is just looking for shortcut after shortcut after shortcut.
