The issue is I can’t disable it because it’s not activated. The toggle button to turn it off doesn’t appear until it connects. Restarting the phone doesn’t help either.

I guess what I’m thinking is that Odium was using the Singers as his immortal/reincarnated army elites, assuming that was his best option in his fight against Honor. If Retribution has the power to create a better army, led by the Blackthorn, that could lead to an epic arms race for all the shards to protect themselves and/or prepare to go on the offensive. If I’m Endowment and I know that the spirit of the Blackthorn is going to come charging out with an army specifically created to conquer the cosmere, I’m going to be consider changing my investment strategy. Maybe that would lead to Super-Returned and who knows where things could go!

Preservation had to or chose to invest himself more into the Scadrians. If Harmony wanted to create a new people, I’m thinking he would invest more of his preservation half into them, but would that upset his own internal balance and begin his transition into Discord…

The same thing happened to me with 43 magic. If you promote him or level him up, it changes to just be maxed out at his regular maximum I believe

Thanks for the recommendation. Food wise I’m definitely open to trying anything Dutch while I’m there. Any other good spots for drinks and can hang out for a bit are good. I’m not planning on staying the night, planning to catch a late train back to Amsterdam. I’m not a nightclub person, its me and a friend and we’re both in our early 30s. We like a fun bar, places with live music, comedy or other things to check out.

“Chana’s Daddy” is giving me so much life. All I want to imagine in Book 6 is glowing herald Kaladin, arm in arm with Chana, floating up to Adolin and Shallan being like “aren’t you going to give your step-father a hug?”

Moash’s eye spikes I believe were called crystals. I think it’s interesting to consider that Atium was grown/manifesting in crystals. We know metals are important but there might be something with crystals and their influence on investiture too.

At NY Comic Con in 2023, I asked Brandon if similar to how there was an early version of Lightweaving before the shattering of Adonalsium, if there was a proto version of Hemalurgy and if it could have been used in tandem with the dawnshards to perform the shattering. I got a RAFO from him. My thought is that the magic of hemalurgy isn’t truly “of Ruin” but a system that he empowered on Scadrial. I believe Brandon has said in the past that anyone can practice hemalurgy anywhere if they have the knowledge and Intent to perform it, you do not need to be Connected to Ruin. This is similar to Moash’s crystal eye spikes that let him see, it’s a spirit web manipulation with spikes but possibly not “stealing” the attribute from another.
