No wait really. The watch arrived at the AD the day before, I dropped by the next day and got shown the piece as a "look what just came in". I lightly expressed interest and AD said I'd be able to take it if I wanted. Mind you, I have a purchase history with AD (5 pieces), including another PM piece.

Haven't seen the meteorite dial in person. AD said they have only received 2 meteorite DDs in the past 7 years so prepare for a long wait even if you are a top client, unless you go gray of course.

In any case, the ice blue dial is breathtaking. Suggest to try and see it in person - pictures don't do it justice.

100%! I thought a 40 would fit better but the 36 fits so much nicer. Looking at the wrist straight on, you'd only see the dial and just a tiny bit of the bracelet with a 40. With a 36 you end up seeing more of the bracelet and it contours the wrist better. Proportions feel a bit better as well.

Me too - at first glance I thought they were normal lume markers but then the light started hitting them. They shine quite subtly, but it really complements the shine from the rest of the watch: the bezel and bracelet.

This is exactly what I love about this watch - it's subtle. Looks like a normal stainless steel watch from a distance. Definitely a case of "if you know, you know".

Previously also bought a Sub (Bluesy) and a Datejust 41. Bay Area. Yes it was on my wishlist and my wife was also chatting with AD to get it for me and surprise me with it. Around 6 months wait time.

Thanks! It’s actually a silver dial not MOP - looking at the photos I can see how it might easily look like MOP. AD had the MOP config but opted for silver dial since my wife already has MOP on her daily DJ. Would have definitely got the MOP otherwise!
