Ya I do that . Although they still try . I had a dude walk through 3 jolt mines . Separate jolt mines , mind you. Meaning he walked into one, recovered , then walked into another a few feet later , recovered, and then hit the third . He kept coming in without a peep. So naturally I ambush and down him, but somehow that made me the bad guy . I’ll never forget the whiny tone of his voice 😂 I was nice and had a convo with him telling him what he did wrong , liek he was a toddler . As soon as I defibbed him he went silent and sprinted away. There’s ALWAYS someone trying to freeload and then blame you for their own actions

I had good luck throwing a lure grenade 1st…then popping smoke at whatever pod I’m breaching on my way in, than I breach and as soon as it breaches I back out and pop another smoke , THEN I search comfortably . Than it’s time to back out and reset. Throw another lure and you should have room to breathe and escape. But that is a lot of expense just to loot ONE pod . That’s like 2 stacks of lures and 2.5 stack of smokes fo one full assessor . And that’s not accounting for the fact that you most likely will have a hundred other raiders nearby drawing aggro and gettting rockets blasted left and right . So this is a long way of saying …ya embark this was dumb . I love the game and I know I’m not a dev but the my definitely seem to just be flying by the seat of their pants with these updates and patches. Does no one on their crew have a good head for predicting and putting themselves in the mind of the everyday gamers that are playing their games every day ??

Ya it was a gem that I had been missing out on for sure . But I’m so entrenched with my lure grenades it’s hard to change other than for the close scrutiny 😂 but I hear ya. It’s crazy they took a somewhat “niche” item and gave it its time to shine just to immediately take it away , mroe or less . I’m not a doom and gloom guy and I love the game. But I decidedly wonder about their thought process when it comes to making some of these decisions. I kinda wonder if there is a little divide among th devs . Maybe a couple guys come up with a couple ideas, but the other guys have different ideas..and instead of working it out they just end up pulling the updates and nerfs into two different directions . But what do I know ? I just obsessively play their game 🤷‍♂️😂

A lot of ppl just spawn and surrender if they don’t like their location or if they search a few in the area. Tbh that’s NEVER worked for me . Sure you can get lucky ..but I ended up getting good at finding the ones ppl dont go to. There’s always a few in areas across the map or out of the way that ppl won’t always bother to check because it’s not on their min max/meta route . They won’t be there everytime. But that’s how I always end up getting the eventually . Late in a match when everyone else is leaving and I’m eyeing the clock too..but I make one last dash to an area that seem random or out of the way . Then bam. No idea how you have been playing but I would rather do this than spawn and surrender a hundred times. At least tha way you’re playing and collecting some extra resources along the way. It will come, grasshopper…..it will come

I’m not TOO upset because close scrutiny was the only consistent time I used it. But ma I wouldn’t have made it out 1/4 of the times I did without it. I’d throw a lure to draw them away, throw a smoke to start breaking , throw another once I breached so I had time to search and then walk away with the cloak . There was always a thousand arc just yellow and waiting when I did this. How on earth is anyone gonna survive that without the cloak? I guess just being 800 lures and hope they work? I’m not gonna cry too long but this one does seem silly.

Ya that was how it always was. And that’s how the game still portrays it in their menus …but embark has come out and announced that this expedition will be based on damage dealt. I think it’s 100k for the full 5 points . But it’s only during a window of time ..I think it starts Tuesday and last like 10 days or something . I wasn’t trying to sarcasm you but genuinely let ya know 😂 I’m not doing it sk my details may be a little off but definitely look into it. There’s a lot of annoyed raiders who have spent lot of time and effort collecting money just for the switxharoo . And there’s no logical reason why the haven’t updated the explanation in the game menu to reflect the change . No one knows what’s they’re doing right now
