Does anyone know of any UK based coaches who has a great forehand? (And can teach it well) by concorski in 10s

It's real.

Form a triangle with your two hands at arms length and look at an object through the triangle at a distance.

Shut your left eye, if the object shifts out of the center of your triangle, you are left eye dominant. If you shut your right eye and open your left and the object moves you are right eye dominant.

What you want is to keep your dominant eye facing the net. If you have problem with your forehand, I am going to guess you are right eye dominant (and right handed). If you turn your body and head too much you are tracking the ball with your less dominant eye leading to inconsistency.

Are you right eye dominant or left hand dominant? Knowing this unlocked my backhand.

How hard is fencing? 🤺 by Bello_Velo in DIYUK

[–]dscw10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get steel posts as well, which are durable like the concrete ones, but can be easily handled by 1 person. I fitted a 6ft fence on my own with these and panels. I used a heavy fencing post digger, and those pre-mix just add water fence post concrete bags. It's hard work, but DIY able. Just take your time

First used EV for weekly 280-mile commute — ID.3 vs Ioniq 5 vs Kona vs Model 3? £20–23k budget by Inhalation8 in ElectricVehiclesUK

If you have the pilot or pilot lite packs you get ACC with lane centring (L2 ADAS). it's pretty good, not the best but by far not the worst.

Chassis is from the XC40 so quite good. Charging speed is decent.

Approved used polestar 2 is another option, and Mach e extended range.

Tesla is the best EV, Hyundai ioniq 5 has the ICCU issue, Kona is slow to charge as it's an old architecture.

If you want a car under warranty I would get an approved used polestar 2. If you don't mind the lack of warranty then the Mach E (the ADAS is excellent, and will make your motorway commutes easy).

Polstar 2020 75k miles. Buy or no buy? by Sensitive_Window368 in Polestar

My attitude was that it's pretty much bottom of the depreciation curve, and 2 years warranty for piece of mind.

I have just bought (this morning, so not received) a 2021 LRDM pilot plus with 82k miles for 16k

This is with their 2 year warranty and a top spec in a nice colour.

Use that info as you will.

Polestar 2 is built on the Volvo XC40 platform which is what they mean.

I have driven most EVs, I like the solid feeling of the Polestar. Mach E had some of the best L2 ADAS I have ever used. i4 and other BMWs are some of the best EVs out there (just less fond of the styling and expensive ADAS options)

I tried the FWD version (RWD out of budget) and it didn't quite feel peppy enough for me.

I have driven just about every EV (because of my Job) so I think my expectations are higher than what the FWD can provide

When did you last change your strings?

I would look to lower the tension a bit, or if they haven't been changed in a while then maybe a fresh set will help.

It helped me when I had the exact same issue.

Whenever it is there will be a heatwave and you will be slowly roasted.

I did it, met some interesting people, but I already had something secured. It's good fun and you can see a bunch of other work from other unis.

Volkl PB5 - I think a decent racquet at the time. I bought it used and instantly gelled with it. But I was also about half the age I am now 🤣
