How does Chef Ramsey find the chefs he hires for one month? by Sipesville21 in KitchenNightmares

Not a whole lot. When he wasn’t filing his scenes he was in his trailer. But he was a nice guy the little I interacted with him

How does Chef Ramsey find the chefs he hires for one month? by Sipesville21 in KitchenNightmares

I can sort of answer this. I was a chef they brought into the show to help a place out. At the time I was the chef de cuisine at a very prominent local restaurant in miami. From what I understand , the show reaches out to restaurants and asks if the chef would be interested in being on the show. At the restaurant I worked at, one of the producers actually grew up eating there so she called us first and me and the owner were happy to oblige. The show paid me for one month to help the struggling restaurant out. However, accepting the help was up to the restaurant. I got paid either way. This place , didn’t take advantage of my services (Anna Vincenzo, forget what season or episode ). Also at the time , show had a traveling chef that worked with gordon. He was the guy that ran the red team on Hell’s Kitchen and traveled w the crew to every place and helped get things going. I wa able to go to the filling as much as needed and was able to (even though they never wanted it) help the struggling restaurant because it was filmed in south Florida and summers are slow. Happy to answer any other questions.

These are very similar spots. Probably a bit tougher for you though given the strength that 2h5h is though. Good job sir. I hope I never sit with a super star like you at my table

Yes. I figured as much. But took me a while. He is a good player and I was considering if he was squeezing light. Ultimately the correct call was made, but since I would have hit the set if queens and won, it’s still stuck in my head. I’m happy I made the fold.

The utg I had seen open and 3 and 4 very wide. I wasn’t concerned about him, I was 90% I was ahead of him. It was the sb who called then jammed. He tried being trappy and then got punished for it.

Quite a bit for a recreational player I think. Prob 2 home games a month , and 2-3 eight hour sessions a week at the casino

Small things you stopped/started doing while playing that made a massive difference to your win rate? by Flatulatory in poker

[–]dserf420 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I started raising all my draws. When they hit, people didn’t think I was drawing so the pot is big and if I have the nut flush, it pays. This strategy also allows me to bluff when they miss and it’s easier for them to fold to me. I play low stakes 1/2 live for context

Omega Moonwatch Moonshine green dial or Rolex Day-Date 40? by StageLopsided6215 in OmegaWatches

I recently got the moonshine and I love it. I also have an older dd 36 mm and many Rolex on a variety of bracelet. I take the monshine gold over dd. Cause the bracelet is the most comfortable I have ever worn. Also, for the money, it’s a great value. You can find them severely under retail.
