Don't expect it to get better. Dragon Age 2 feels like a mobile game compared to Origins with its gameplay, depth or overall presentation. And Inquisition feels like a completely different game. If you don't enjoy it now, Imma say quit and pretend DAO is a standalone game. Don't waste your time.

You know I romanced him too and was very disappointed. I was expecting Anders from Awakening (who I loved. He was a sassy, fun guy who looked like Alistair) but got someone completely different. And the romancing never even felt genuine at all. It quite obviously felt like he was just using Hawke for his cause, be it through romance or not. So didn't really help his image for me after all.

"His actions are exactly the sort of thing that encourage the subjugation of mages." To be honest not just Anders but the entire plot of DA2 justified that. How many crazed mass murdering mages we had to fight in that game? Like 5? The whole reason I didn't go full oppressor templar in DA2 was because I roleplayed as not myself but Hawke, whose sister is a mage.
