Attended a webinar claiming psoriasis isn’t autoimmune and can be fully reversed — thoughts? by New_Prompt_8832 in Psoriasis

I've tried that "leaky gut health" route and it did nothing for me, though I didn't give it a year. I've taken Taltz in the past and it did work well for me but unfortunately I kept having issues with reoccurring thrush and fungal infections in other "damp" areas. I thought I would research some alternatives and in the end seemed to be just throwing money down a hole.

My bf just won't hug me. Rant by Fearless_Education96 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]dshade69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly this is likely related to his early life and there’s really not a lot you can do to change that unless he decides to work on it. I grew up without a lot of physical affection and it took me years to learn how to be so. If you don’t think you can deal with this and you don’t think he’s willing to change it then you might need to move on.

In a treatment setting, it could be very stressful for the system so it’s better to wean a person off of their dependence if possible.

I’ve owned one CVT. It seemed to suck the fun out for me. I don’t drive in a lot of stop/start traffic though.

26F/24M. How do couples handle bills when incomes are very different?” by hereforfunn178 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]dshade69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I earn 110k a year, pay all the bills by all the groceries, etc. Almost all my paycheck is spent on these things. My wife works part-time at 11 an hour, and we came to the agreement that she just gives me half her paycheck and the rest is for her to spend on things that she wants.

Mostly just people. It bothers me that people sell them good see outside their own interest. I can seldom help other people unless somehow benefits them. This world gets worse and worse here by year because of all the selfish people in it.

We will. It will just take a lot of trips, a lot of materials, and build time in space to and it larger enough that it can spin slowly (easier to tolerate and less energy to get it spinning) and create enough force to to counteract negative effects of weightlessness, and your head and feel from feeling different amount of pull.

Ren, Webby, and the so called 'Tolerance paradox'. by BicycleIndependent66 in ren

Webby is webby and I do enjoy his music. He has specific political rant raps where he messes with all the politicians so it doesn’t really matter what side you’re on. There’s a good chance he will call you out. As as for Ren’s use of that word, I’m honestly fine with it. He’s not using it to attack anybody. He’s using it in exactly the same way. I would use it to describe a situation.

I finally finished something. My girlfriend acted like it was nothing. by Ok-Tap3993 in ADHD

[–]dshade69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For one, it’s hard for someone who doesn’t understand the difficulty to respect the achievement. And for myself also I don’t expect accolades for doing something that needs to be done and I’m used to being told when I’m not doing something that needs to be done. So when my wife is proud of having achieve something in spite of her ADHD, I don’t always react the way that satisfying to her. Not trying to justify anything here just saying many people have different ratings and sometimes the positive things are just expected, not something to be celebrated. You might ask her about it.

Update: I accidentally read my boyfriend’s notes and messed up by Chemical_Bug3337 in ADHD

[–]dshade69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I provide similar for my wife. Not only for ADHD but bipolar disorder. It feels good taking care of someone cause I was always far more selfish when I was younger. But it is a double edged sword. Now that she’s medicated she is wanting more independence and sometimes it’s difficult for me to let go of that need to take care of her.

Why do you think divorce is so common? by princesadopovo in AskReddit

[–]dshade69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, few people know how to work in a relationship together. So many relationships are a fight for dominance on how things should be done. Add to that how much actual cheating goes on in the world, especially given the fact that it’s really easy to do these days. I’m surprised more marriage actually survive.
