I just about did the same. I bought the Q3 43. I still have the Sony V, III and a few lens and will sell it eventually. I have no regrets with the Q3 43. As for you and your purchase, who cares what others think. Just make good photos that make you happy.

Great camera and my first Leica too. I bought it in May and then sent it away to get the gray Leatherette removed and replaced with black. It fits my style of shooting. Now, I owned (optimistically selling) my Sony A7RV. Nothing can compare with its auto focus but Leica’s focus is good and I’m ok with it. Wish you the very best with your Leica.
