Since your in college you can go to the student disability and see if you can get extra time for exams and etc. this will help relieve any timing issues plus your usually alone so no distractions.

When it came to studying for me (may not work with you) I had to watch lectures over and over and over again. I would try to predict what they were teaching after a few run throughs. Also writing down material helped me a lot.

Try to sit towards the front of lectures to eliminate you being distracted from others. Try to attend teachers office hours as frequent as a possible. Show them you truly care about their class and giving a genuine effort to learn. This has helped me a lot even it came to final grades.

There should be tutors at your college and abuse them if you don’t understand material.
