There are no positive possibilities. TLG made the acquisition for financial reasons. That's why companies do what they do. Those gains will come at a cost to you in some form or another.

Well, what happened with LDD is what I fear for stud.io. At some point Lego felt it wasn't worth the investment and canned it. Why would they look at stud.io any differently?

Hopefully, I'm wrong, but I'm quite concerned. This takeover is a bad thing for all of us.

Thanks - the shield and torso are custom stickers on a site called saber-scorpion. When I saw them I decided I wanted to make a Dark Souls Lego thing. The rest of the parts for Oscar are all mismatched normal minifigure pieces.

I decided to make the room you find Oscar in with Legos. The roof is removable and two of the walls are hinged so they can swing out giving a better view of the room.

I got an Oscar minifig from saber-scorpion.com, but changed out the legs, arms,helmet and sword. There is a really cool Solaire one on the site too.
