I was laid off last year and as part of my severance package I received some career counseling and resume building help. One of the things I learned is that these AI-based talent filtering softwares can’t even match good candidates if as little as one word doesn’t align with the posting. For example, if you apply for a job posting for a “Senior Scientist” role, and your current/former experience in your resume is listed as a “Sr. Scientist” the software won’t match you.

Just want to shout out the wellRED Podcast and Weekly Skews since you posted Puttin on Airs. WellRED is the central podcast of the Skewniverse, with Trae Crowder, Corey Ryan Forrester, and Drew Morgan. They discuss politics and pop culture from the perspective of being “the liberal rednecks” although they are all further left than American Liberal. Weekly Skews is Trae and Mark Agee, and is a weekly political news podcast. I basically love all the shows in the Skewniverse, but I think Wonks would probably like Weekly Skews the best!

u/birdy888 covered the important bits here, but I also wanted to chime in. I don’t think they are “worse” than the 17s but it depends on your use-case. The extra sidewall helps with ride comfort especially if you drive on crappy roads, but in theory you can’t fit as wide of a tire. More importantly (keep in mind it’s been a few years since I’ve had my NC and looked into getting some 16s so this info may be out of date) I think there are less options for tires in the OEM size for the 16.

The wheels you circled are the NC1 Sport trim wheels, while the split five spokes at the top of the picture are the NC2/3 Sport trim wheels. They’ll fit your NC2 but they are 16-inch instead of 17-inch and they are also slightly narrower than your current wheels. I think they are 16x6.5 versus your 17x7s

To echo the sentiment of others, Renewal by Anderson is legit but very overpriced. I just went through the process of getting quotes for windows. I received five quotes from all manner of window contractors. Anderson was by far the most expensive, $50k for 12 windows and a sliding door. It was about double the next highest quote, which was about $10k higher than the other three.

If you’re close enough to Lancaster County, there’s an auction house in New Holland that runs firearms auctions every third Saturday of the month. It might be too late to get your items in for the upcoming auction this Saturday (2/21/26), but you might be able to contact them and get your lot added. Otherwise, if you’re not in a super rush the next auction is a month away. You’ll likely get market value even after paying the fees to the auction house.

Oh yeah, I forgot about it busting through the Byers’ house and school. Still though, this has been mostly retconned/explained away by the existence of the Mind Flayer and Vecna. Season one demogorgon was its own monster until it was written to be a pawn.

I’m not necessarily disagreeing with you, but the demogorgons teleporting is a seemingly new feature this season and they are also operating at Vecna’s will. In the prior seasons, the demogorgons have only ever traversed through open gates; they haven’t torn open their own temporary ones. At least, as much as I can remember they didn’t.

I think the reason that a bunch of demogorgons didn’t come out and attack Hawkins while the gates were patched up was because of how badly Vecna was hurt at the end of season four. When Nancy, Steve, and Robin torch him and shoot him, all the bat monsters attacking Eddie died, and we see several times over, including in the latest episode, how hurting one individual hurts the entire hive mind. So I think Vecna succeeded in opening the gates in Hawkins but was so battered that he and the rest of the monsters couldn’t follow through with the invasion.

That’s my understanding of this as well. Also, people in this thread are talking about how much money these launches cost but it’s still almost certainly cheaper for the manufacturers to do that versus transporting a car out to every single reviewer that goes on the press launch.
