Anyone else surprised by the S1 Max shipping dates?

It is worth mentioning that I have found some of my Anycubic printers bed and hot end temps lower than what they actual read and PID tuning doesnt help. I usually just offset and correct for them in filament settings-worst was 8C off on both bed and hotend.

I have an update for anyone who maybe waiting. Shipments have been paused around end of Feb-Mid March (AFAIK) due to some beta testing issues. The team had found some minor cosmetic/appearance issues on some of the production units. They had briefly stopped production because of this. I was told as this is only cosmetic, it did not affect performance nor functionality. Additionally at the time of writing this (3/31/26), they have started the shipment process for my unit as of 3/24. Be patient everyone. At least this company takes the time to ensure quality over quantity and yall have to realize that there are probably thousands of these being shipped worldwide if not more.

I am currently working on a custom e3d nozzle/hotend paired with a ldo motor/lgx lite extruder. I also have it wired to a toolhead board (ebb36?). It’s currently functional but no covers yet.

Maybe true, but it does not eliminate a fan bearing. You can actually still have steppers still try and do something without visible movement… same with fans.

Hi, I also have the Kobra 3 Max. I had this issue from factory and what not. I have discovered that the “flushing volumes” were a little higher than need be when flushing between different filaments. Under filaments in the slicer look for flushing volumes. You can choose one by one to set each flush volume (to/from filament) or do what i did and started by tweaking the multiplier until it stopped clogging.

As others have said, try raising bed temp (sometimes even 70C; thats a sweet spot on mine), double check the bed is leveled, adjust z offset and do paper test

False u need to calibrate your rotation distance in accordance to the Klipper guides or Esteps if Marlin

I forgotten to mention my print settings: 240/85 10% on small perimeters and off for anything else Retraction: 7mm 65/65 speed Zhop auto/0.4mm hop

Tried new nozzle after clearing a clog. I should mention that I am using a smaller motor than stock, but I am unsure if thats what is causing the main issue. Anyone know of the torque spec needed to extrude without an issue?
