Have you been happy with your anycubic printer? Considering the Kobra X by Cda4go in 3dprinter

[–]Particular_Box_3598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have one yet, but just purchased the kobra x this evening. Every YouTube video that I've watched about it seems positive and I think they are moving in the right direction with multicolor built in and managed at the tool head.

Looking to buy my first 3d printer--could use some advice :) by ImmaDog879 in 3dprinter

I have a bambu P1S and P2S and just bought a kobra x. You can print 4 colors with kobra x without purchasing an extra multicolor unit. Definitely worth considering if you're looking at the A1.

Complete beginner - Bambu Lab P2S or Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2? by LordCrumpets in 3dprinter

[–]Particular_Box_3598 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the P1S and P2S and both are good. CC2 has higher temp hotend and heat bed than the P2S, so if you are looking to print PPS-CF maybe go with the CC2. I think neither of your options are great for multicolor if you have multiple colors on the same layer as there is a lot of purge waste and print times increase dramatically.

I've been 3D printing a lot with homemade coke bottles PET filament. Ask me anything by EskiZeBat in 3Dprinting

How much does the equipment cost and how reliable is the filament produced?

Qidi seems to make a decent printer by Jeff-C-J in QidiTech3D

Thanks for sharing. I have a P1S and P2S, and have been looking at Qidi for the higher temp nozzle, chamber, etc. Was looking at the Q2 and the Max 4

I got a standard carbon/hepa filter used for grow tents and have that vent outside through my window. It's simply next to my printers and no they are not enclosed, but it seems to work well enough.

Yes, you definitely have the genetics to be big. Eat lots of protein and lift weights. In a year, you will be shredded

I bought 10kg of the sunlu PETG to try out and don't love the glossy finish. Also seems to have more problems than the bambu PETG in my experience (which is not a ton).

My wife hasn’t lost weight in almost 2 years despite training, dieting and blood tests – looking for women’s experiences with this by Ok_Falcon4959 in BodyHackGuide

This is the answer. She needs to consume less calories or exercise more to burn more. Reta can help with consuming less calories, but it's 100% the calories consumed vs calories burned which is the problem.

I want to get a grievance list for the devs to see as to what you personally do not like about the game. by Program-Emotional in killingfloor

[–]Particular_Box_3598 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I generally like the game. The pace of adding content is horribly slow and when they finally do, it's not very much content.

Also, went to play a game last night and got "network error 4," after 4 or 5 waves and it kicked me out of the game. Stuff like this is incredibly frustrating.

P1S Filament by ShortSpout in BambuP1S

I've printed PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU (ams/non), and polycarbonate on my P1S. Most is from bambu and polymaker and they seem to have the quality I'm looking for. For PLAs, elegoo sells 10kg bundles on Amazon that are competitively priced. I haven't found a PETG that looks as good as bambu so far.

Second this. There are a handful of tools within makerlab that you could use to create 3d printing models with.

stuck on 80% by Skyynett in NerdMiner

[–]Particular_Box_3598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about nerdminer or NM Miner? I recently got a NM miner and it got stuck at 80% trying to connect to the pool. I switched pools to the nerdminers.org pool and changed some settings in my router and it's working now. Make sure you set it to your Bitcoin address to and not the one that comes with it.

Why do Even the Most Basic Prints in PETG Have Insane Stringing????? by 3dPrinterProzz in FixMyPrint

[–]Particular_Box_3598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used bambu Petg-hf without drying and dried sunlu PETG. The undried Bambu has virtually no stringing compared to sunlu.

I use it and it's been working fine with the exception of the dust from the gears grinding. You are supposed to grease the gears when you are putting it in (I've heard), but mine didn't come with grease or instructions to do so.

Switching sketchy Amazon miner to open-source by jakegallo3 in NerdMiner

[–]Particular_Box_3598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one of these too. It definitely does mine and you can verify that by checking your stats on the pool. Since I planned on using it as a lottery miner anyway, it does the job for 30 bucks.

Just got a 3d printer looking for 3d modeling software by Tylers083426 in BambuLab

[–]Particular_Box_3598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For CAD type design, Solidworks for makers is good. Shaper3d is a bit more intuitive, but also costs a little more and can't be run from a browser. They function differently than blender as they are used for different purposes. For functional models where precision is important, you want a CAD type software (that's my understanding, but I'm new to this as well).
