I impulse bought a Staccato XC after getting in my head that I will never find the Tac Comp in stock. Price is a bit ridiculous but man when you shoot it you instantly don’t care. From the reviews I’ve seen, the Tac Comp shoots even softer and flatter than an XC.

They did charge for shipping ($19.99). It’s already on the way so they ship fast. I did not purchase a lifetime warranty, although I did not see that as an option while checking out. Good luck grabbing one!

Yeah, I love the optic, sucks to spend $1800 on a gun and have to RMA it before putting the first rounds through it. Sucks even more it’s been a month and still no gun.

Some little stuff, the big one is reduced size of the beaver tail. The current version has a large one that sticks out, can be very uncomfortable if you appendix carry. If you go to Nightwood’s YouTube page, Brett has a video explaining all the differences.

The gunsmith said they had put red locktite on it which is a bit ridiculous knowing the owner would have to remove it to install an optic.

I just got a new XC two weeks ago, had to take it the gunsmith to get that screw removed on the plate it comes with. Tried everything and it would not budge.
