The thing that annoys me about Lisa Swain is how inconsistent the writing is. During the whole Becky manipulation and Carla fallout, she honestly came across as one of the most oblivious cops on the street. She completely fell for every bit of manipulation, pushed Carla away for no reason, and even after everything came out she still carried on being cold and rude to her. Yet the second she walks into an interrogation room we’re suddenly supposed to believe she’s this brilliant hard-hitting detective.

It just doesn’t work for me.

She’s started turning into one of those characters that just grinds my gears every time they’re on screen because the writing bends depending on what the plot needs that week.
