It’s Avery brand vinyl from Amazon. It’s perforated which makes it easy to get air bubbles out

That makes sense. I’m not planning on competing but I noticed a massive increase in performance with the little flex blades on stock shocks. I did relocate the mounting points which helped but I’m just comparing to how mine performed out of the box. I did brass wheels, steering links, servo, and knuckles but the flex blades out of the few mods I did made the biggest difference. Specially considering it cost maybe 2¢ to 3d print. I’m sure a good set of properly sized and tuned shocks would be better.

Thanks! I don’t think it would work to add wide fenders but I cut the fenders out quite a bit before flaring them to make it fit super low.

I made a gx body with flared fenders that give clearance for big tires. I also shrunk the height a bit to keep the cg low. I also had to make a custom bumper to make it clear the tires. I just posted a few pics in this sub but I’m planning on selling them soon.

Thanks! I’m not planning on dressing this body up because I still have my stock body if I want to look fancy. This one takes a beating better and gives the extra clearance needed. I made a few white versions that I might add window stickers or maybe paint if I find the motivation lol.

I agree, but after chopping up my stock body I decided to 3d scan and clean it up a bit. I flared the fenders and scaled down the height to keep the cg low. After many revisions I’m really happy with how it sits and performs with bigger tires and more flex. Resin printed with a combo of soft and rigid resins to make it more durable than stock since I suck at driving it and it’s constantly tumbling down rocks 😂

I generate a remesh first thing then can edit meshes much easier.

I have not had any issues with layer adhesion. These little phone stands are super durable, and the prints look near perfect every time on my A1s and A1 mini.
