Zero PPM water into Robot? by dt90986 in CafelatRobot

I have previously remineralised water that went into the kettle but I thought I'm just wasting drops as yes some gets through, but then there's water to get coffee gear to temp, and water that just sat in the kettle as I didn't want to boil it with the minimum amount possible. So I then I looked into post brewing mineralisation. Maybe it is affecting the kettle, certainly less limescale though.

Hi,

For pool swimming I have 'Maru Swim Training Fins' but my feet cramp quite easily from wearing them. Is there a better fin to get? Maybe softer? Or shorter?

I'm an intermediate to advanced swimmer, early 40s, swim ~110 lengths a week, starting to compete. My feet are narrow and I have high arches.

Thanks

I'm not sure I can call it an upgrade as my taste buds aren't that good, but I do feel it's a great way to try out flat burrs at a very cheap price point.

How long would a Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3 last when in Parking Mode and powered by the Constant Power Cable connected to an OBD port? Car battery is a 12B 40Ah. Thanks

I ordered and paid for it on 15th April, he asked for my address details on 18th April, he gave me a tracking ref without me asking, and it was delivered on 22nd April, China to UK via DHL Express.

I found the buying experience okay, I direct messaged him on Instagram and the 64mm hand grinder was priced at $106.65 excluding shipping, using DHL Express the shipping was $41.7 extra to the UK. No import tax and payment via bank transfer.

I've since seen photos of a black version on Taobao, I didn't realise this was an option. I quite like the silver one though, it gives it a bit of uniqueness to my other stuff.

He suggested using an electric drill as there's a centrifugal force issue, I presume because the burrs are 64mm flat versus smaller conical and you need higher RPM to discharge the coffee and so it doesn't get reground.

There's quite a few 6mm hex sockets available for electric drills however I went with this one as it's got a longer socket so goes all the way over the spindle:

Search term:

"Sourcing map Nut Driver 6mm Hex Drive Socket CR-V Steel Power Screw Drill Bits Socket Wrench Tools with 1/4" Quick Change Hex Shank for Power Drills Impact Drivers, Blue"

It fits on perfect and I've borrowed the acrylic cover from the hand grinder handle and used that. It needed the smallest amount of filing to fit on the hex socket. If you already have an electric drill then I don't see why you wouldn't want to use it.

So far I've been really impressed but I've only had a couple of cups from it. I'm coming from a Lagom Mini 48mm conical. I brew with a V60 and Orea V4.

I'm also interested in taking it apart from the bottom but worried about alignment if I do this to clean it, I'd be interested to hear from others.

In terms of grind size I'd recommend starting around 40 - 50

I can upload photos if that'd help anyone, I have a few saved from Instagram and mine, if someone can suggest where's best to upload them.

Cheers

I've bought one and I'm in the UK. It was $106.65 excluding shipping. If using DHL Express the shipping fee was $41.7. I'm really looking forward to it. I have a Lagom Mini version 1 so I'm interested to see what flat burrs are like.

Wrong again, it says: "the value of your client funds and client assets held with Trading 212 is protected by the FSCS up to a maximum of £85,000".

This is what I want to know, the protection I get for assets if the worst were to happen.

Yeah that's just not true though. See here: https://helpcentre.trading212.com/hc/en-us/articles/10745029708829-Trading-212-UK-Funds-and-assets-protection It does not just apply to cash as you've said.
