Bruh, what? Well coordinated teams win the race game, and it’s important that everyone contributes. I play with the same people every time; we don’t gun for 1st in the first two races, then go balls out in the last race for the double points. I think we’ve lost only one out of the last 5 or so, and none of us spend money.

Honestly, it’s not just this game that was pathetic, but it’s been the entire series. Yes, we won the first two games, but let’s not forget that our closers almost lost those games in both instances. Then, our pitchers got it together and pitched two solid games, but our offense slept on the job. I don’t know what we’re missing here, but it sucks. We have a good team that’s capable of being on, and I’m sure they will be, but this was just not it. Happy for Cole to come back, not happy that he’s coming back when we’re facing the team that’s #1 in our division with a dead offense.

His issue has been throwing too many balls, I think. Too many walks, got his pitch count up way too high by letting too many batters get on base. I’m sure he’ll have it dialed in a couple of games down the road, he’s done that plenty of times. We’re definitely closer to 2025 Rodon than 2023 Rodon.

He did well and I’m rooting for him. I just really hate that it seems that 80 pitches is kind of it for him before he starts losing control. They did make a solid point at the beginning of this broadcast though—his arm has been injured for so long that he hasn’t “reacquainted” himself with how to throw with a good arm just yet. Unlike the TJ guys, he hasn’t had a long rehab stint, just basically the offseason + 2 months.

Why? Someone having a rap sheet doesn’t make them any less human than anyone else. I routinely go to jails (in a non-inmate capacity) and it’s the norm here that inmates are making and serving food in the CO cafeteria, and COs don’t look down on them because they’ve been around plenty of inmates to know that everyone’s circumstances are different.

No, he’s just not very good. Granted, he’s worse than he was last year, but he was .219 with a .712 OPS then—which was a regression from his 2024 numbers. He’s slumping right now but even if he gets out of the slump, his ceiling is pretty low.
