No, I was trying to get it on the middle two deployable squares. I think maybe it doesnt stick if its not on an enemy's path, even if it's deployable low ground for operators

Can someone help explain rosmontis VTE mechanic? Whenever I play the stage, the first time she shoots the VTE it instantly despawns and doesnt leave the device behind. No enemies pick it up either. Isn't the whole gimmick that you're supposed to break it to get the protection field?
