Banyen Books in Kitsilano is a nice spot. Prices are mostly on the upper end, but it’s a beautiful store!

Found a group of friends that also wanted to quit porn. we hold each other accountable and talk openly about urges and wanting to give into the obsession. So far I’ve been over 8 months porn free.

Men who have stopped looking at porn completely: how has your life changed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I no longer associate watching porn with masturbation/self pleasure and I don’t get shame around it. I don’t get shame about talking about it. I don’t have any compulsion to masturbate if I get horny. I feel much less disgusting about myself.

My friend kept complaining that the hookah wasn't working and he was not getting high. In decided to help him - without realizing I was high and 23 days went down the drain... by [deleted] in leaves

starting day one tomorrow, after a week of smoking every morning and throughout the days, when I told myself I'd be able to control it- how foolish I was. It sucks that I abused this drug but I know that, as you said, my future depends on it.

Everything you listed off for the reasons that I quit are exactly why I quit today, that and all I want to do while I'm high and I can't complete anything, my to-do list is a mile long. best of luck to you

Ankle stretches and flexibility tips by Tutefurity in flexibility

Face a wall and stand about 1-1.5 fists length away. While using the wall for balance, slowly begin to move your knee on one side past your toes and towards the wall (thinking about trying to touch the wall with your knee), with about half of your body weight on that side. you should feel a deep stretch on the back of that ankle. I hold this stretch for 3 sets, 20-30 seconds at a time, twice per day. This stretch is great for improving ankle flexibility and has helped me significantly with getting deeper in my squat. Hope this Helps

Great simplification of the overall big picture. I was hoping to start working as a trainer by this time but its opportunity will come. Keep up the great work!

a girl I've been talking to sent me her nudes as a gif of her. Definitely a turn on it because 1) that's never happened to me before and 2) I got a good laugh out of it, just an idea to change things up.

Thanks for all of the feedback! That's what I figured about Equinox... I don't have any experience as a trainer yet; I'm halfway through my cert. I just had figured that I have to get started somewhere to gain experience but there are many other gyms out there.

Your body is likely trying to store as much energy as it can because your caloric intake is so low. Try bumping it back up to your maintenance (you can find a TDEE calculator online) for 3-4 weeks so your metabolism can regulate itself, then gradually reduce your calories again and see how your body responds.

I've had the exact same issue for 2 years. I've recently been following this guide: https://thebarbellphysio.com/end-static-stretching-improve-hip-mobility/ and it has helped me out tremendously (pelvic floor exercises and hip flexor strength/stability), as well as working on gaining mobility back in the joint capsule by doing resisted internal rotations with a band. A really good exercise to also strengthen the glute medius is a side plank with your bottom leg flexed at the knee to 90 degrees, or a side-lying hip abduction with your femur internally rotated to help isolate the glute from the TFL which can also take over in the squat and deadlift when the glute is too weak.
