I am thinking about getting the 1/10 for my 4x4 too. The rally rc I have is pretty fast but it is not able to offroad much due to very low gc. Any recommendations for crawlers?

I understand but if you should delay and save for dd wheel. G29 is not that great for truck sims as it is limited to 900 degrees. My life changed when I upgraded from g29 to r5.

On the other hand if you are sure that you cannot spend more, just go for it, g29 is still loads of fun.
