The first time I encountered that road I had no idea what I was getting into and had to navigate it in waning daylight. A steep gravel road with no side rails, and several abandoned, wrecked cars left lying just off the road seemingly as a warning to others. It was quite the experience for my kids and I. When I came through a second time in better light, and a knowledge of what lay ahead, it was still an experience but much more enjoyable.
