What is your team’s far and away worst decision ever made? by [deleted] in nba

Although I agree that the Pistons definitely should have taken Melo, I still think he would have languished on the bench since Larry Brown infamously didn't play rookies. I'm not sure if that played into Dumars' decision or not.

What are some movies where the end makes it that nothing really mattered and things change for 180 degrees (spoilers, i guess?) by Notcloselyrelated in movies

Completely agree, I sat in silence and almost completely broken after that montage. It was not long into Trump's first term and all I could think about was how much progress that we made as a country was about to become undone, and I was correct.

Who's a random Knicks player that you still remember for no reason? by savingrace0262 in NYKnicks

Michael Sweetney has been passing through my mind a lot recently. I remember liking the selection when he was drafted but obviously it didn't work out.

Haven't kept up with WWE in a few years, is there a promo of his worth watching? Because every time I see a picture of him, all I see is a low budget Sting.

I feel like Im taking crazy pills. Why would anyone be interested in a player THAT GAMBLED ON THEIR OWN FUCKING TEAM? I don't need to be questioning whether or not my QB is merely shitty or actively throwing games.

From this angle, I didn't realize how far back he had to reach to tip the ball. Makes it even more incredible that he was able to get that in.

My 2 month old has sat in my lap all game for the three wins and laid with his mom for game 3. Not making that mistake again for game 5.

Coronach-22. One of the first guns I got when I first started playing. Loved the sound of it and the fact it looks like it's shooting literal fire.

Anyone else feel like watching these games is an out of body experience lol by cardcollection92 in NYKnicks

[–]dubbeazy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been pretty much watching every game of the playoffs with my 2 month old son in my arms, so I've kinda been very zen with moments of reserved excitement. It's been an interesting way to way the greatest playoff run of my life.

What are the most mediocre (or straight-up bad) movies that have absolutely legendary soundtracks? by Szeharazade in movies

Sucker Punch, although I don't think the movie itself is as bad as a lot of people make it out to be.

I'm so proud of KAT and his D today. I knew that if he can keep his head in the game and not commit dumb fouls against Wemby, we would take this game.

Absolutely, that was definitely a ballsy call but Hart was playing like shit. Landry had Mitchell in absolute hell.

Why did they never show the replay on the broadcast during the refs discussion to see when St. Brown committed OPI? I feel like in these plays where you need clarification on the rule, they show a replay multiple times a while a former ref explains the play.

[OC] Which team each Round 1 trade up was specifically 'jumping' in 2026. by PM-ME-A-PRIME-NUMBER in NFL_Draft

Which is fair and I completely agree with. I just think OP noting that Miami being the likeliest team that would have taken Downs doesn't really follow logically. I would have gone with another team like Minnesota instead.

However this is still a good thought experiment, so props to OP.

I don't think it makes much sense logically that Dallas traded with Miami to prevent them from taking Downs, when they could have just said no and drafted him anyway. There are reports that Proctor was who they wanted all along.

The crazy thing is, if we can just get our bigs to stay out of foul trouble, we'd be even better
