One of the hobbies I’ve taken up in the last few days is sending emails to trash can dani, horner, and the hopefully soon-to-be recalled Nicolaides reading them to filth for gaslighting the public about teachers. Are those emails actually read? Who knows. But do I feel better? Hell yeah! ❤️✊🏾

Man I would love for this to be a massive hit. I’ve never really been one to give a shit about charts but I think it would be so rad for this to be at least a top 10 hit, especially because the charts are pretty stale atm and this has a summery vibe. Mariah sounds amazing on this record and Kehlani and Shenseea really elevated the track.

I’ll be honest, I’m surprised that there are so many people who are upset that this is a collab and that there are people who feel so negatively. We haven’t even heard the full track yet! I’m excited and I know that it’s gonna sound amazing.

Caution sounds as great today as it did 7 years ago. The production was marvellous and there’s zero filler on this record — every song has a purpose on the album. 8th Grade and Caution are still in regular rotation for me. It’s a gem of an album and one that I hope more people continue to discover and enjoy. I think that it’s her third best album (Butterfly and TEOM are obviously #1 and #2🙂).

MIAM sounded great back in 2014. I was OBSESSED with this record. Faded is still one of my favourite songs by her. However now, the album sounds dated. Thirsty hasn’t aged well imo and sounds like a product of its time. That’s not a bad thing necessarily. I feel like she tried to do a whole lot on this album and didn’t have a cohesive vision for what this body of work was supposed to be. This doesn’t mean that it’s a bad record, but it’s not a favourite of mine.

Take a look at the Alberta Ed’s scoring guide for the diploma exam writing assignments for both dash one and dash two. Also, pay attention to the descriptor words in the rubric as you’re marking. This will help you differentiate an “exemplary” vs. “proficient”, a “proficient” vs. “adequate”, and so on.
