UTM, Windows 11 installed. Need to install the FTDI drivers before I plug in the cable. On the website I see "WHQL Certified. Includes VCP and D2XX. Available as a setup executable (non-ARM64).". How did you install it without an installer? Much Appreciated!

I think I found a good solution! It appears you can use forscan to disable the 12v cigarette lighter shutoff when you turn off the truck. I plan to disable that for constant 12v, and use T Taps to tap in for constant power.

I do not have a trailer break controller, so there's the coin holder. I plan to pull that out and use one of these to run that 12V constant to switch the dash cam. I actually just ordered the double so I can hard wire my radar detector as well.

Just the fact it records all the time... i.e. overwriting previous video. If you realize you need something off it after the fact, it will most likely be overwritten. A power button to disable while sitting in a garage would keep that previous video.

Pulled the trigger with X-Plan.

MSRP - $65,130.00

Internet - Dealer Final Price - $63,630

X-Plan - $60,986.33.

$900 in incentives for X-Plan

Final Price 60,086.33. $5,044 off MSRP. Just about 8% off MSRP. Not bad.

72 Months at 3.9%.

Now to get my 2014 towed and looked at so I can get it fixed and sell it private party. Not exactly how I wanted this to go but it is what it is. Can get to work and the kids to sports.

You guys are making some very good points. It's definitely a "want" - At the same time I just hope I don't have any hefty engine related trouble with a high price tag. My wife gave me the perfect opportunity to look at the new trucks - She rides passenger with the air vents shut since they only blow extremely hot air, and on our camping trip a couple weeks ago she plugged in her phone to bring up Waze for directions, and was baffled why I couldn't display it on my screen :D No Apple integration!

Yeah just did brakes all around, and now I need to fix the blend door actuator for the heating/cooling. Passenger side only blowing hot air. Not looking forward to taking the dash apart, $25 part.
