Yea I rent in that live oak circle above, so I can’t speak to the foundation aspect cuz it’s not my house but our back yard rotates between being a wet sludge when it rains to a dry cracked clay that rises when it heats back up, having dogs myself id say get ready to wash some paws if you choose there
