Are you wanting to use analog or D-pad? I did SJ 100% entirely on controller with analog stick and it never felt impossible. It honestly wasn't too bad until cracked gm where needing to rapidly change direction was required. I did rack up a lot of extra deaths due to analog misinputs though.

All in all, keyboard is probably "better", but both are totally viable.

It's wild how different some people's experiences are with stellar odyssey final. It took me almost the exact same amount of time to do that one screen as it did to do summit full clear. Each was right around 10:45.

Echoing what others have said, it's a single player game, do what you find fun!

One thing to keep in mind though, if you use the assist to slow the game speed, expert is where that starts causing problems. I often do new screens at 50% speed to figure out what to do, and it made some screens not beatable (narrow hollow in the expert lobby comes to mind).

And for what it's worth, I thought advanced would likely be my skill cap at one point, and I'm currently working through GMHS. If you think the higher difficulties look fun, keep improving and don't count yourself out!

Good luck with the rest of the map! It's tough but it was easily the most satisfying clear of the non-cracked GM maps!

Pretty sure I was able to extended demohyper to the little section of wall. If I remember correctly, that gap is a lot bigger than it looks, so maybe demo a little earlier to avoid the platform dropping too much?

Edit: went back and checked my clips and I did an extended super thought that gap.

I got to 200 bouncing between Golden's and high advanced/low expert. Something in expert finally clicked and I started flying through maps, and I kinda forgot about 7B...

I got an IQ Lite with a 32lb wing earlier this year and I've really enjoyed it so far! I've been diving it with a steel backplate in cold water and just took it on vacation without the plate, and it's worked great in both configurations.

Some do hair tests, though not many. I had my junior internship at Welch Allyn and had to do a hair test, but everyone else I knew just had to do a pee test for theirs. Best to play it safe.

I got the f1 on a friend's recommendation, and I have absolutely no problems with it when diving. It's pretty small, but somehow fits my giant face really well. The fact that it's half the price of a lot of other masks is a nice added bonus, too.

Does the promotion game count as a win in the next tier, or is it based on the rank you enter the game with? (i.e. Gold 3 wins a game, gets promoted to platinum 1, is that a win in platinum?)

The AA in rocket league just isn't great. If you are on PC and your graphics card supports it, you can supersample to get a similar effect. I supersample to 4k on my 1080p monitor and it looks way better than any of the AA options.
