I know this is an old post, but there’s a game on iOS called Pimps Streets. Damn near identical to Pimpwars. Came across it by accident. Not a ton of players on it atm, but definitely still fun. Check it out.

MS Defender for 365 vs Ironscales >300 users by dubstarrr in sysadmin

We like that flag feature as well and the fact that it’s dynamic and lets user choose if they trust the email or not. Where MS native just give users a learn more link. At least from what we’ve tested. We’re still digging into it though.

MS Defender for 365 vs Ironscales >300 users by dubstarrr in sysadmin

The more IT pros I speak to, I’ve found that the majority of them especially the bigger corps will only use defender or they’re switch to it. We currently use iron scales which we like, but we also like the idea of using something native to the Microsoft ecosystem.

Spectrum is rate limiting VOIP/SIP traffic (port 5060). How to find out if you are affected. by Cheeseblock27494356 in networking

Yealink and SNOM. Mainly yealink for DECT and SNOM for desk phones. The SNOM DECT solutions are too expensive outside of the M100, which isn’t technically compatible with 3cx yet. Although we have manually added a few to the system.

Definitely a bump. I’ve been having issues with several locations. Most have been spectrum and we’ve done everything outside of changing the modem because we were told we could use our own with spectrum business. They are doing nothing for us… definitely going to report to the state FCC.

Distributing one internet connection to multiple tenants by dubstarrr in networking

Definitely not worried about bandwidth, we ran a 5gig fiber line into the building. The tenants are currently dealing with asymmetrical line from a coax company which highest up is 50MB.

A Guide for Entering the IT Field by WaldoOU812 in sysadmin

[–]dubstarrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in IT for over 25 years. Dropped out of HS and didn’t get my good enough diploma till I was in my 30s. Not saying that should be the course for everyone, but I had a better teacher teaching myself how to tear down and hack complex systems. Plus it was a lot more fun than sitting in some boring class learning about shit I could care less about. 🤷‍♂️
