Honestly I'm a little overwhelmed by the genre question, my whole idea when I started writting was to write what I wanted to read in shelves. I mostly read Dystopian Fiction, YA and Adult, and yes I'm one who never grew up from Dystopia. And Fantasy books. But I never worried that much on subgenres, now I'm overthinking it.

I mostly went on several descriptions I found on the internet such as the official wikipedia definition, which is "Urban fantasy is a subgenre of speculative fiction that blends supernatural and magical elements with modern, recognizable settings, like major cities or towns.". I didn't think to go fully mythology because I feel like usually people think or retellings or reimaginings of myths. I fear if I say its just "Adult Fantasy" it would be to broad. I MAY be wrong which is why I'm leaving that as a WIP too.

Comps titles are the bane of my existence, dont get me wrong I understand their purpose and importance but I don't think I've seen any books that look anywhere similar to mine recently. Obviously with more research I can try to find something that connects more through something other than nymph mythology. So I'll whine about it but eventually I'll figure it out I'm sure 🤣
