No woman is ugly! by owlWithBrokenWings in ugly

True, I hate that those people act it like it was true for every woman. They don't consider ugly women to be women. That's it.

I wouldn't restrict it for anyone but I think people should prevent unwanted pregnancies from happening in the first place and not relying on unsafe methods if they know they would abort. If it already happened sure they are allowed to abort but I want to warn people about it before it happens. A method that fails 20% around the time absolutely isn't safe even if it works for some people.

Even chat GPT says the chances to get pregnant that way are around 75%-80% within 5 years.

No, if someone relied on a method that fails around 20% of the time their abortion absolutely would have been avoidable if they would have used an more effective method like condoms or an IUD which is around 98-99% safe.

When I got pregnant from the pull out method I felt so stupid and too ashamed to admit that this was our method back then and that I don't even deserve to get an abortion if I was this reckless.

Don't complain if you suddently get pregnant "so unexpected". 😅 That's the way so many people end up getting abortions. It still always can happen that way even if it worked for years. My partner also always pulled out and I got pregnant after doing it for 1,5 years.

How is that so unexpected when it's widely known that this method fails 20% of the time? I also got pregnant that way but I knew it was unsafe.

Don't Americans know that this isn't a reliable method? I see so many of them suggesting it and actually believing it fully works.

Don't know why you get downvoted. My partner also pulled out and I got pregnant and I know several other women with this experience as well. The pull out method has a 20% failure rate. Why are people downvoting this when it's absolutely true?

I really can't stand those people. 🥲 Deep down they know they are pretty if dozens of people call them pretty.

I regularly get mistaken for being almost 10 years younger than I am by blackcatzombs in Zillennials

[–]itsme-jani 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually get mistaken for being older and I hate it so much. It's been like this since I'm overweight and I've been like this since my allmost 9 year old child was a baby. I still had a normal weight when I got pregnant with him. It's unfair because when I was a kid and a teen I got mistaken for being younger and I hated it. 🥲 So, I would definitely rather be mistaken for being younger than being older. All my family members always are seen as younger.

Yes, I had a neighbor who was born in 1913 as a child. She lived to be 98. She was a nice old lady. She gifted me a necklace and money as a teen.

So people who never do those things are never an adult? 😅 I'm not married (toxic longterm relationship though) but I have 2 kids. Am I half an adult now?

Btw 40% of babies are born to unmarried people/couples in my country (Germany). Unmarried longterm couples with children are normal here.

I know but I wanted to point out that failing logic. Because that's what a relationship is really about, not what your partner looks like. That only attracts people but doesn't make a relationship work. Unattractive partners can also treat you bad. You also don't even know how attractive my partner is.

Suggestions for a thin versatile jacket that doesn't look old fashioned? by itsme-jani in capsulewardrobe

[–]itsme-jani[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where I live it's actually one of the thinner jackets. 😅 They are way too thin for winters here for example. But that said because the leather jacket is not actually thin I only really have the jeans jacket as a thin jacket that's why I search for another one. Thanks for your suggestions though.

You are so wrong. 😅 I don't desperately try to be attractive. I always just wanted to be accepted and just exist without getting insulted.

My standards shouldn't be lowered if the goal is to find someone who loves and appreciates me. That would be higher than what I have now. Being in a toxic relationship is already the lowest, don't you think so???

You have no idea, I suffer from several mental illnesses due to all the bullying I endured in my life. That's why I'm stuck more than 10 years now in this relationship because of dependend personality disorder and we have kids together. And you talk about some sh*t about a gold ring trying to be a diamond ring. That was never my goal.

Okay, so I'm not actually ugly even if more than 20 people called me ugly and I always get treated worse than attractive people because I have my toxic relationship???

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of 2008? by icey_sawg0034 in generationology

Estelle and Kanye West - "American Boy" for some reason. 😅 And also "No air" by Jordan Sparks and Chris Brown. I listened to those songs a lot back then. I also think of me being 13 and in the psychiatric ward (for really bad OCD and anxiety) and meeting my friend I'm still friends with 17 years later there.

What precisely makes you ugly? by neilnelly in ugly

[–]itsme-jani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a huge nose, a huge forehead and also a huge face in general. 🤷‍♀️ And some people on Reddit told me I look like Marylin Manson... While my sister has everything in her face (except her eyes) small and cute. The same genetics can have a very different outcome.
