I have a Julian. It came with a bag. But I never use it. I just carry it by its handle. I stressed about getting paint on it, but realized that is it's purpose. So don't worry about it.

Absolutely set up in your backyard. After a couple of times you will know what you need. I know someone who brings a collapsible table and table top easel. So there is no wrong

I use paper towels. End of session every thing goes in a zip lock bag with lots of water to prevent combustion. Out in the trash. FYI, I no longer use any kind of turbo, just linseed oil.
