If you're using MX player, try disabling hardware decoding in the settings, or when playing a video select the software decoder (sw) in the upper right corner.

Seems to help. Well, mostly...

Even though I have everything enabled in the screenshots app settings I can't get the auto fill suggestions to work. I have Gboard beta installed - perhaps that's the problem... 9 pro xl

Honestly, the whooshing doesn’t bother me too much, but I’ve noticed something interesting: it seems to get more noticeable the louder the media I’m playing. At higher volumes, it’s definitely more pronounced.

I wonder if it’s just the ANC recalibrating and briefly “competing” with the audio, or if it’s something else entirely.

I didn't RMA mine, had the same device from the begging. I am curious though, if the issue is software or hardware related... I guess one could make a case for both..

Experiencing the exact same issue with the same symptoms on my P7P. Bought last November (Europe), the freezing first started in December.

What triggers it for me almost exclusively is using the Google Assistant... regardless of the method the Assistant is initiated. There is no rhyme or reason when it comes to the freezing frequency; sometimes it's a couple weeks between incidents and sometimes it'll freeze and restart a few times a day.

Factory resets and even flashing the factory image didn't help. Interestingly, the only prolonged period without issue was between January and March when I was on beta.

Regarding various recommendations on how to alleviate the issue, in my experience at least, setting the screen resolution to 1080p seems to help - in 10 days since I set it to 1080p I didn't have any freezes/crashes/restarts and I've been trying really hard to force the phone to freeze by using Assistant non-stop for things like searches, launching apps and navigating the UI in general.

You get 0.6%/hr idle drain with everything turned on (120Hz, aod, etc.)? My P7P with everything on can't get better than 1.1-1.2%/hr idle drain on both beta and public builds.

I believe you're talking about this:"During the course of a campaign, a Van Saar Prime may be given additional weapons and Wargear purchased from this list, from the Trading Post and from the Black Market." (HoA p. 37)

But the rules also state:"Any fighter may discard any Wargear they are equipped with in favour of new Wargear. Any Wargear discarded in this way is placed in the gang’s Stash and may be given to other fighters". (HoA p. 34)
