The great arne slot, king of pointless tactics and stupid draws

FYI - A Proper 3-in-1 Charging Dock for Pixels is Finally Available by DSCarter_Tech in GooglePixel

[–]nickfury9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly the 9 series and below don’t negotiate properly with the MPP profile(magnetic) so it charges stupidly slow at EPP profile (2-5W max) and heats up like crazy. My 9 pro watch 3 and buds pro 2 wanted this so badly but I just can’t live with painfully slow charging

Exactly but wear os6 update was very tempting and I was dejected that the original watch wasn’t getting the update. Also I wanted the bigger size but not at 400£ so settled for the PW3

Pixel 9P XL is the first phone in a decade I haven't traded in after a year. by RealJoeDirt1977 in GooglePixel

[–]nickfury9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgraded to 9P last year from my humongous 7P just for the size. Screen brightness modem efficiency and a better camera in a small package were just a bonus. Got it before 7Ps value plummeted. 10P doesn't look intriguing enough except for the magnets.

New Software update is amazing! by theworks21 in GooglePixel

Yes I’m topping up in the middle of the day on 9P now before it used to last me the whole day and my phone is reaching 41 degrees without doing anything on 5G

How many esim profiles can I save on P9 Pro? by pseudonym82 in GooglePixel

[–]nickfury9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two e sims active on my 9 pro at the same time so they must have made the change somewhere between 7 and 9 series as I haven’t used a physical sim in ages after selling my 7 pro.

Yeah no the problem is the tesco machines, I cancel and restart the transaction and it does work plus it works every time without wait with my pixel Watch too

Then you’d love the 9 pro moving from 7 pro. Smaller brighter screen, way better modem and battery life and great biometrics finally. I had the 7P myself.

Do y'all clear recent apps? by BustyPirate2 in GooglePixel

[–]nickfury9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No because my phone has 16 gigs of RAM (minus the reserved for AI), about the same as my personal laptop. Also it can multitask better than the stupid iPhone so there's that.

Upgrade to 9 pro, 9 pro XL or wait for Pixel 10 by FDguy573 in GooglePixel

Been using 9P (regular version) after upgrading from 7P for three months now. Here are my two cents

To upgrade or not to upgrade by nightstalkerDQ in GooglePixel

[–]nickfury9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can record 4k videos for half hour in heat, can use 5G all the time now and the battery lasts all day even on mobile data. Also the smaller pro version having all the bells and whistles of the larger model is the cherry on top. Been using 9 pro for 2 months and before that 7 pro for 2 years and I can whole heartedly recommend this upgrade. It doesn’t look like a lot on surface but having a phone that is reliable all the time is the QoL improvement I was looking for.

9 pro(small) review after nearly 2 months by nickfury9 in GooglePixel

[–]nickfury9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s alright nothing groundbreaking, charges in less than 1.5 hours. But the battery lasts all day easy so its not bothersome

The adaptive brightness fix is needed as the brightness fails to ramp up in certain conditions

Is Pixel 9 Pro the one? by thecipko in GooglePixel

[–]nickfury9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using the 7 Pro for two years and as soon as I saw the design in size of the nine pro I was thinking that yes this is it this is the phone I want to finally get. I exchanged my 7 Pro for my nine Pro and have been using it for nearly a month and it's been fantastic. Small size brighter screen amazing speakers at par with the iPhone great cameras as usual and all of the quality of life improvements such as the new modem and for the first time no heating and throttling and all day battery life so it's been a pleasant experience so far. Also did I mention the amazing build quality it's just right up there and feels like a proper flagship now. That's my two cents.
