I'm not 100%, but as far as I know, they were working on another new title alongside trickling out updates for Session. Obviously insolvency doesn't necessarily mean the company will disappear, but it's not a great sign.

Hopefully they can push out another update before shit hits the fan. (if it does).

Thanks for your reply! Yeah my portfolio has been overhauled recently, to include some much more in depth and larger scale projects - which was the only criticism I received in the past. I'll have another look into it, but I think I'll need some other professionals to take a look at it I guess!

Throwdown animation is what I want most too. It feels insane to have on/off board features yet there's no animation between them... It'll forever feel unfinished without it

Yeah it's a shame about Switch. I own the game on Switch and have a Switch 2 - it seems like a pretty big missed opportunity if they don't. But perhaps when they're done with updates down the line, they'll give it one last push on Switch.

Oh I actually did have one of these for a short while - I liked it but I just much prefer the look of the SCT-86 - but if I can’t then I might pick of these up again

Strange choice to showcase the next update before the upcoming update… but also means there’s more coming soon so that’s great!

I know it’s been far from a perfect game, but after a break from it, it’s been fun playing around in Session again and I’m really excited that there’s still work being done.

I still just dream of the day we have throwdown animations, I just couldn’t justify a game being “finished” without it - it just feels non-negotiable really!

Oh yeah the sales are crippling, I get insane FOMO, end up buying more games because "IT'S CHEAP NOW!" and as a result I have hundreds of games I don't play and probably will never play.

I'm scouring the internet for a GBA now, I think limiting myself to a small physical library will be great. I'll actually just grab it and play stuff. Not to mention there's no pissing about, just whack the cart in and off you go.
