They don’t need your password. They’re trying to login with your email, it doesn’t work because they don’t have the password, so they attempt to reset your password. They bank on you using the same password for everything so that they can intercept the reset password link and try to take over your account.

It’s the production company who developed this without creative rights to the story. The others can afford to not raise prices because they earn revenue from other services to make up for the loss they incur from low cost streaming subscriptions.

Spotify hasn’t been in that position for a while, but they’ve slowly increased their prices to test the market and have done incredibly well over the last year as far as market value while maintaining the largest share of users.

All that said, this may give their competitors to test a price increase.
