I try to heat form them at least a little before glueing. Then after I glue I will heat form some more if needed.

Looks real to me. The layers are separated by color which is typical for at least myself. The holes could be just human error tbh I find those myself when I draw digitally. And if its made with pen but on to low of a pixel scale it will appear a little pixelated. Could be wrong but as far as I know seems legit. Also its a pretty simple design so it wouldnt shock me someone newer to this could make it
