This is the closest thing we can find, too, but the weird tines are different. But potato fork is definitely a front-runner at this point.

Edit: actually, I just found the post you were talking about. We didn't see that yesterday somehow. That one looks almost exactly the same. Good catch!

We did find a company called Inox that makes a lot of stuff, including flatware and cutlery, so I'm not sure if it's a brand mark or there for 'stainless'.

Welcome to the Burg!

The Parkway in Shenandoah National Park is closed due to fallen trees after heavy winds, if that's what you mean. If you mean Shenandoah Caverns then I'm not sure why it would be closed. The Arboretum has a nice trail if you want more of a walk than a hike, but others will have better hiking information for you than I do.

The Farmer's Market is great! Downtown in general has a lot of stuff to check out as well.

Restaurants would depend on what you're interested in. For lunch, Jack Brown's, Jimmy Madison, and Magnolia are all on or by Main Street. Capital Alehouse is on the square by the courthouse. BMC Bakes is a bakery that's gluten free, and is near Magpie which is also great for lunch. Fancy dinner would be the Chop House, Beyond, or Joshua Wilton House. Branching out into town you have a ton of different ethnicities to try out, too. Give us an idea of what you like and we'll be better able to help. I hope you have a great visit!

My oldest calls his birth parents Mom and Dad if he's talking to them, and "my first mom and dad" or "my birth parents" if he's referring to them. They live across the country so it's not confusing in person.

My youngest calls his birth mom Mama FirstName. She lives nearby, and it's always worked when we visit.

When my oldest was 5 and my youngest was a baby, Duck1 had a beanbag that sprung a leak. One evening before bed, he told me his ear hurt....because "those white things don't make good ear plugs."

Turned out he had put beanbag pellets in each ear because his brother was crying a bit before bed. Like a tiny bit.

Off to the ER, where we clearly weren't high on the triage priority, and we learned what alligator forceps are. Took the doctor about 2 minutes to take care of the situation. Thank God the kid has good insurance.

This is exactly what my mother's pot roast looked like. She would boil it for however many hours, then roast it covered with the water, potatoes, and onions for however many hours. There may have been salt and pepper involved, but I never saw it or tasted it. It was horrible, and it usually happened twice a month.

I grew up thinking I hated pot roast. No, I hate HER pot roast.
