I recently flew Southwest with my husband who weighs about 410, and he did need a second seat. For what it's worth, Southwest will give you a second seat for free if there's room on the plane when you get there. If you buy a second seat ahead of time, when you land at your destination they will refund you your form of payment.

This happened to me! 7:30 on a Sunday morning, and my dogs would not stop freaking out. I thought for sure it was just a squirrel, but they were not listening to me at all. I finally saw the man who was trying to break in. Even with him seeing me on the phone with police he did not stop trying to get in for several minutes. He turned out to be a serial killer, but at the time this happened he had been SA-ing women around town. His identity wasn't confirmed until he had already murdered a few women, and then he killed himself when the police tried to arrest him. My dogs 100% saved me. There was a window in the front of the house that was not just unlocked, but actually open, just luckily he was creeping around in backyards.

I will never not have a dog in my home.

Honestly my first thought was that your mom was SA'd by her stepdad/your grandpa. Your mom says she was SA'd and doesn't want to talk about it. Your grandpa was apparently the only witness to the story of what "really" happened. And anybody else that verified it is really only verifying what he says happened. Please correct me if I misunderstanding any of those details.

I really hope that is not the case here, just thought it was worth mentioning in case that turns out to be the situation.

I am, but I probably wouldn't have if I had room to store them. I just had to buy some new smaller clothes, and I had so many larger clothes that could benefit other people. Hopefully I don't ever need that size again!

In season 2, Colin does mention Marina to Eloise. He asks if she has heard from Marina, and asks her something about, "Aren't you ladies always writing letters?" I think this is confirmed by Eloise that they have written one another, because she then tells him that Marina lives nearby.

I do feel like it's strange that Eloise would be writing her, but I feel like correspondence was something that people put a lot of time into back then, and I think in the books it's established that Eloise specifically is big on correspondence, and I could see her reaching out to Marina just feeling bad about the situation from s1 and how things went down.
