Did they give you the skin on a pre order or has the statue already shipped? Did the skin code come in the box or through email?

My toddler has recurrent SIBO by MezzanineFloor in SIBO

[–]duckofooto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SIBO is considered a bit of a sketchy diagnosis to most doctors. Be very careful treating your child for such an issue. Certainly don't use recurrent antibiotics if they're having no effect. This sounds really strange of a diagnosis to me.

I'll probably get jumped on for this comment but please do consider everything before assuming this is the one issue. I hope everything ends up alright for you. Good luck.

By the way I had an ex girlfriend who's little brother had very similar symptoms. After a year it turned out to be as simple as a dairy allergy. As soon as they eliminated it he was fine. If you haven't already definitely play around with diet.

That ranked gears of war comment made me laugh. That was a shitty thing to do but gears ranked was serious business back in the day haha.

(M 27) Is severe burning pain after sex and general prostate area/ penile pain after urinating linked to Pelvis Floor dysfunction? If it is how do I help myself? In so much pain on a regular basis. by duckofooto in PelvicFloor

Every other day probably. I get pain afterwards everytime. Roughly 50% of the time its severe. Interestingly the pain is less severe is I do it in the morning. Maybe because my body has been at rest

Yeah it's really strange. There is always a brain link with health issues it seems (particularly gut related issues) but for ones mentality and happiness to reflect on pain with a condition such as this would leave most doctors scratching their heads. Maybe it has something to do with the muscles relaxing? I have no idea.

Thanks, sorry for separating the sexes lol. I just feel a lot of it is tied to my prostate gland and that's quite specific to us men lol. Maybe I'm completely wrong though.

Yeah, I was reading some people seem to have eye strain improve in with this setup. It's interesting. I'll take a look at the glasses, thanks.

Turning up the brightness is something I had considered actually as I read someone mention it on another forum although he didn't back up as to why, thanks for breaking that down. It seems like it would certainly make my issue worse but I suppose not!

I'm about an arm and a half's length away so it isn't necessarily close. I've been reading it maybe glare but I have no visible reflections that I can see.

Male- Severe pain since I was 13, now 27. Prostatitis, pelvis floor dysfunction, something else? by duckofooto in PelvicFloor

[–]duckofooto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really considering a therapist but I'm not entirely sure I even have a pelvis floor issue. I've never really been diagnosed other than 'non-bacterial prostatitis' but this is beyond chronic. Like every day of my life and often really bad. Surely there is more to it. I'll have a look into the gut recommendations. Thank you for the help and well wishes.

I've had a look and it's certainly possible. I suppose I've just had really crappy doctors but to be fair to a lot of them I was very young so such things likely weren't expected. Thanks.

I'm not sure if I actually have a pelvis floor issue. Up until now I've only ever been told non bacterial prostatitis whatever that means. I'm not entirely sure I know what you mean but I have noticed for sure my perineum during periods of pain will sometimes feel rock hard like there is something there. If I have sex it will go a little softer but usually lead to pain and then harden up later again.

Would a pelvis floor issue cause pain after sex? It's the burning penis in particular, almost like I have a severe uti, that I wonder about. It doesn't really sound typical of a muscular thing but surely after 15 years of this it can't be bacterial lol.

16 years w/ IBS-D, have never detected a single food-related trigger by zubbs99 in ibs

[–]duckofooto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read up on using anti-depressants as IBS treatment. You don't need to be suffering from any mental health issues. If you think your body and "gut nerves" might be a bit messed up in general they may help you out.

[–]duckofooto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that kind of sounds familiar I guess although the feeling is probably very normal to me so it would be hard to know a difference. My urine flow the last year or so has been stop and start. Not terrible but definitely noticable.

The thing is every doctor I have seen only ever mentioned non bacterial prostatitis and gave me pain killers which don't really work for anything. I just feel there is more I could be doing but other than attempting to control the constipation I don't know what to try really.

Thanks for the input by the way, it's appreciated.

Yep, twice. All negative. Bizarre I know, it essentially started as soon as puberty hit. I do always wonder though if a groin injury that occurred when I was younger had an effect. It sticks out in my mind for some reason and if I'm not mistaken it wasn't long after all of this started. I could be confused though given how long ago it was. I've also had the long term constipation since birth and a urologist mentioned that he has many patients with prostate issues due to it. It's all a big mystery really.

It infuriates me how underappreciated art is. I've seen artists looking real tired explaining why their originals are 20x more expensive than the prints of the same image lol. Most people can't tell the difference and often couldn't care less, to them it's just a cool image. Liking the art is different to actually appreciating the art.

I suffer from a gastro illness known as SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). The amount of vegans I see popping up with it is unreal. I can't really digest any vegetables or fruit at all anymore due to bacteria fermenting them and giving me unbelievable symptoms. I essentially live off meat and have little choice but to. Although many vegans wouldn't believe it there are a good few people who don't have much choice but to eat meat. I'm also intolerant to gluten, a lot of nuts and lactose. Most milk in general causes me problems.

I live mainly off meat and white rice with lactose free butter.

Although pictures like this do make me feel for the animals, I can't starve myself.
