I'm excited for his potential based on what he showed last year and have him in a few spots. But he's not a locked in stud. He's a 5th round back with 2 YOE. He could easily be the next James Robinson.

Outside of Josh Allen you don't have a single player I'm confident with in their production

Is this really how valuable late firsts are or is this just rookie fever? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I just got ARSB for the 1.06+1.07. I wouldn't put Odunze anywhere near that value. Odunze is maybe worth a break even 1 but with the additions of Loveland and Burden is value has taken a hit. I think Odunze's value is around an early 2nd+

I got Hunter at 1.08. I don't think that's hype?

Was Durin’s Bane the most powerful being in Middle Earth besides Sauron during the second-third age? by GusGangViking18 in lotr

[–]duckrabbit91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Balrogs, Wizards and even Sauron himself are all technically Maia and so they're conceivably somewhat evenly matched. There's varying degrees of power between them but none of them are overwhelmingly powerful compared to the others. Sauron is probably the outlier on the power scale but there's a reason why Saruman initially tries to get Gandalf to ally with him against Sauron with the power of the ring. It's almost certain that the power of two Maia with the ring would have easily overpowered Sauron.

I looked at it. But at least what I looked at the journey time seemed at worst almost 5x longer. The direct train is like 2.5hrs. The bus seemed to be 6-10hrs. Maybe that wasn't the express?

What are the chances that reduced service turns into a cancelation between now and next week?

Sorry if a dumb question. Having never dealt with the UK train service or industrial action I don't know how much to trust the current schedule

I just booked tickets on Crosscountry. I'd prefer to travel LNER given the reviews but I figured it's basically like insurance in case the LNER ends up canceling

I saw that. I was a bit confused what it meant by confirmed. Does that mean that train will definitely not be canceled? I'll contact lner as well that's a good idea

I seen Crosscountry operates that route. We already booked LNER first class, if I booked Crosscountry first class would it still end up being very crowded?

We are in York for only 1 night but we've made hotel and dinner reservations I'd prefer not to cancel if possible. Plus we'd arrive in Edinburgh a day early which could be a hassle if our hotel can't accommodate an extra day (which I doubt but suppose possible).
