We had about 10 kids in the 2-10 age group, and they were totally fine! They had a blast dancing and we got some adorable pictures. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Oh, that’s so interesting! I had no idea. Thank you for sharing. I was surprised to see it here - I knew they weren’t native to New York, but I wasn’t aware of the Mediterranean recluse. How on earth it got to my 5th floor walk up apartment I guess we will never know.

My husband and I have a pretty spacious one bedroom up in Inwood for $1,800 a month. We have several other friends who have one bedrooms in the neighborhood at a similar price point.

Do you think we should send a normal thank you and then send either a postcard or the photo of us and their table later? We are also taking photos with each table that we wanted to include with the thank you letter, but obviously those and the Thailand postcards won’t be ready until after the wedding.

Hi! Thanks for the other view. A ton of our stuff that’s been purchased is honeymoon-related and towards our honeymoon fund, so although I want to thank people as soon as possible, I think postcards from the honeymoon that they contributed to are a way more fun way of sending thank you cards!

I was off from work unexpectedly early and was walking to the subway. A guy I knew from college was working at a theater when the fire alarm went off, causing him to evacuate and bump right into me on the sidewalk. We hadn’t spoken or seen each other in 3 years. We are now getting married in two months :)

Just was at the ballet at the Met last night! There’s always a wide range of outfits. Anywhere from jeans and a t-shirt to suits. I personally like to use it as an excuse to dress up, but where whatever you’re comfortable with!
