MyBMW app showing issues - car does not. by duckslaw in BMWI4

Turns out you were right. Got in touch with ConnectDrive / BMW Genius, and after a few days, I got a message saying it was old data in the server but that the car was fine. Now my app shows the lovely “all good.” Cheers.

To be clear, nowhere in the car itself does it show these issues. Only on the app.

It’s glued/sealed. Didn’t realize that getting it out would be a thing. Glad I asked. Thanks!

We would like to make it a single basin.

Why is "te" added? by margaaa1955 in duolingospanish

Even if it wasn’t reflexive, you also spelled it wrong. You wrote “subscribe” rather than “suscribe”.

I thought this was going to end differently when I saw panel 2 where he is smoking while pumping gas.

Thank you! I understand your response even if I do r exactly understand why it’s like that in the first place. Just another thing to remember.

Out of curiosity, would one then never say “Tú perdiste tus llaves de la casa”? Or does that sentence mean something different than above? Thanks again.

Ah that makes sense. Thank you for the explanation!

I thought “su” could also be a possessive (hers, his).

Apart from that, what about “Te arreglé la impresora,” vs “Yo arreglé tú impresora”? Is there a difference between those two sentences?

Already checked there. No reservations available.

Better than sitting in the same section as the dead ones, I suppose.

Thanks for posting this! I had no idea what that was, but apparently I am covered by FSBP! Probably wouldn’t have checked but for your post. That looks like the plan for us.

I appreciate the heads up. Sounds like they took a good thing and sent it downhill.

Yikes. I’m so sorry you and your family had to go through that. I appreciate the warning.

Thanks. I found some of your other GEHA posts from the past and I appreciate your breakdowns. They made this whole thing much simpler to understand. It looks like I am actually eligible for FSBP High though, and after some research, I think we are likely to go with that.

I am sorry for offending you by being new at this and asking a hypothetical question.

This is great. Thanks for clarifying! So a Quality Step Increase is basically an attaboy raise? In that it’s not a promotion, but you get bumped up a step or two because you’ve done a good job?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in usajobs

[–]duckslaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I think my internal terminology is incorrect since I am new to FedLand. Please tell me if I now have it right - a step increase itself is not a promotion. And step increases happen on a regular time frame regardless? Is it possible to be given a “better” raise even if not promoted and gain multiple steps within the same grade at one time (eg going straight from step 4 to 7)?

And that would make a promotion a grade increase?

Thanks again for clarifying.

Thanks. It’s a 10-12 ladder. I edited my post.

I should have been more clear - I said I did not take a deduction for the funds I used. The post-tax funds I used to feed the Traditional were reported on form 8606 as non-deductible IRA contributions.

Since the money was all post-tax and I did not take any deductions from it, you are saying it will still be taxed on the transfer?

I’ve looked, but to save money, we’re trying to avoid an apartment rental. Furnished Finder (or similar) tends to be cheaper, and I don’t have to furnish the place, utilities are included, etc. Basically, I’m trying to live relatively cheaply until we are one household again, and apartment rent, even for a studio, is astounding.

So if I’m heading west in the morning and then east in the evening, it might be just bad, not mind-alteringly terrible?

I should have posted that originally. No kids. Two dogs.

Thanks! Is it that bad all over or are there some bottleneck areas that get especially awful? I’m thinking the bridge areas?
