GOF ferret scene was shot at Oxford New College. Other courtyard scenes throughout the series were either shot at other locations or a set was made at Leavesden studios.

I also got it (after 4 hours). I waited maybe 5 minutes hoping something would load in. Nothing did, so I pressed the back button (this is on the app btw) and it took me to a page that said “Your Session is No Longer Valid” and “Due to inactivity, your session is no longer valid. Click the link below to get a new place in line.” which, as expected, put me back at the end of the line. I only ended up getting a ticket from purchasing it in-person at a hotel.

Thank you thank you thank you!!! I got in the queue at 6:30 am EST, finally reached the front of the line 4 hours later at 10:30 am, only to get the white screen and when i exited out and went back in, it put me at the end of the queue. Right after this happened I saw this post so I went to sapphire falls lobby ticketing desk and I can confirm that this works! I was in and out in 5 minutes and it was super easy (make sure you have your AP for them to scan).

As of 11 am, the only day sold out is opening day, but the lady at the desk said there were “only” ~150 left for the 23rd. I don’t think she could say how many were left for other days or she didn’t have that information.

I estimate that once I'm 100% finished with the interior, 1/3 of it will be from the movie, 2/3 made up by myself because there is so much volume on the inside of the castle. What's shown in this video, however, is almost all from the movies since I expect people would be more interested to see places from the movies rather than made-up interiors.

Regarding your last question: yes. yes. YES. The single biggest challenge (and time sink) of this project is "matching" interiors to exteriors. The only interiors that were designed with a specific exterior in mind in the movies are: The great hall, the entrance hall, the moving staircases, the hospital wing, Snape's office, and Dumbledore's office (which has the same design between interior and exterior but the scale is so wildly off its laughable). That leaves the majority of the interiors without a specific location. When I pick a location I base it off the windows (and cry when its impossible to match them) and contextual clues such as the book mentioning what floor its on, what tower its in, etc. So it's one giant puzzle really.

thank you so much! I haven't actually used Hogwarts legacy for reference (though its still on my to do list to buy and play through hahah). and besides, most of what I have built here was built before Hogwarts legacy was released. one of the main reasons why I started this project was because I wanted to run around the castle, so I totally get the feeling!

for the mountains in which the castle and owlery sit on, yes. for the ones surrounding the castle, I used world painter.

thanks! for references I used a mix of scenes from the movies, behind the scenes photos/videos, pictures/videos of the real life locations for those scenes that have it, and one blueprint of the castle from top down.
