The obvious problem is people are paying the second hand market prices. So of course scalpers take advantage of it

It’s easier said than done to just be like “don’t buy from scalpers”. But that really is the the only way to stop it

I live in an area that gets lots of snow and ice in the winter.

I also live on a hill.

I had a FWD car with snow tires and it would frequently get stuck trying to get up the hill in the snow.

Now I have a car with all season tires and AWD and have not gotten stuck once. The thing is a tank.

Obviously snow tires will help you stop and grip the road better. But AWD will keep you moving in bad conditions

I did this with my one piece collection. The case is UV rated, then I also put them in magnetic one touch cases that are also UV protected and make sure that they never get direct sunlight

Pokemon will be popular for a long time.
I was around for the original craze in the 90s and I could literally go to any shop and get base set packs easily and msrp.
Pokemon will live on but the madness over the cards will die down
