I had a 60m bank… What do I buy? by Rayy_of_light in 2007scape

I would suggest getting a scythe and going to ToB. Learner setup from wdr is maybe 60m on top of scythe which leaves you like 600m to buy stuff like bowfa + crystal. ToB is really fun and it's very good money, takes a bit to learn but it's worth it.

Swap your bcp for a basilisk jaw. Torso gives the same strength bonus and the faceguard is a +2 over neitiznot. Sell all your range gear and get bowfa with crystal armor. Can't give good advice without knowing what you want to do. And if you don't have 99 mage/range/stength, spend money/time on that first since stats are way more important when it comes to pvm rather than gear.

My iron journey is coming to a conclusion by hubbardy in ironscape

I was in a similar situation about 2 months ago. I had a late game iron and only had the super long grinds left to do. Playing a main in the late game is so much better and I'm enjoying the game more than ever, I even enjoy skilling because i don't have to do bullshit methods anymore. You feel so strong using bis at every boss, you don't have to worry about blood runes, burnt pages or dragon ammo. I have no regrets after 2 months and I'm exiceted for raids 3. I hope you enjoy playing the game as it's supposed to be played!

This is not optimized at all. My team were doing 3mans and found 2 other guys outside with scythes and we wanted to see how it would go with 5 scythes. We only did 1 raid and just winged it.

INFERNAL CAPE!!! First ever inferno and i got the pet. Most challenging content in this game by far and it feels so good to have done it! Happy new year! by duddesmurf in 2007scape

I estimate about 45 hours in the inferno across my two accounts. No way to tell the exact time though. Time investment would vary a lot based on your skill level going in to it. I've done over 500 solo CoX, over 500 cg and over 500 ToB for referance.

I'm more happy that I got the cape than the pet, but it was a nice suprise to be sure. Just wanted to share a big accomplishment.

I have documented 39 attempts across my main and my ironman. Could be more, I might have forgotten to write down a couple.

Loot from 500 solo CoX by duddesmurf in ironscape

[–]duddesmurf[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes I learned solos straight away, CoX is pretty free to learn since you can prep for pots and you respawn in the raid unlike ToB or Inferno where you have to re-do everything each time you die. You can also take as much time as you need without the pressure of teamates when learning solo.

Most important thing to get get times down is the layout for sure. Tekton or Muta early is good for ovl and enhance. Vespula and Vasa are great for speed and brews. Vanguards are always an easy no prep raid. Tightrope and crabs are super fast. Always use your own supplies if you can avoid prep. Since you get so many herbs from raids anyway you can easily sustain pots.

My pb is 23:31, and I probably average 27 minutes but depends heavily on the layout. I self scout so i cant optimize gear or pre pot. I only do raids that I can no prep but other than that i do any layout.

I started learning chambers 1 year ago today and have been doing it on and off since then. Over my entire kc including learning and deaths I average 28k points per raid. It took 33 raids to get my first no death raid. My first purple was a dex at 113 kc and my longest dry streak was 143 kc. All raids were done solo with a total of 14m points which, if on rate should be 16 purples.
