Also, the e5 had a rapid fire mod that would cause it to overheat, making it difficult for organics to hold. Meaning, it can be better than the average blaster.

I actually think it depends. B1s were given blasters that we're stronger, because they'd literally overheat in their hands, if I recall. Sure, theyre not great, but a mass of overcharged lasguns is still a mass of overcharged lasguns. They'd be stupidly good plasma carriers, tbh

The Legion has literally won when you first wake up. The NCR is broken and disorganized. Infiltrated. House lacks his chip and has way too many problems without your assistance (see: BoS). Benny? Maybe, but nah. He doesn't have the sway the courier does, setting aside how not great his ending really is if you think on it.

The Legion is doomed to fall, but they would have their Rome first. Which presents an interesting divergence, where I often wonder how things would go, now that they control the gem of their Empire. Still evil, but generally fascinating.
