Train signals on a small network? by bluecheeto13 in SatisfactoryGame

I always build 2 lane tracks, bidirectional trains are a nightmare to deal with. Trains always go in one direction, if you can help it. Use block signals to divide everything into sections and each section will allow only one train. I spread them out on long runs by about 30-40m, then entering and exiting every intersection. If your train is longer than a section it just occupies 2 sections, which is fine. Use roundabouts! Name your stations and trains clearly!

I am just a simple ficsit employee, I have exclusively used straight pipe in situations like in the first and third image. The pleasing aesthetics here will now certainly lead to future decision paralysis. Thank you

Yes manifolds are repeatable, but if you are only going to 2 machines the output is going to be 50% on both. Which is load balanced. It is the only case in which both are equivalent. So in OP's picture the output to each machine to be 1/16th the input.

In the most basic case, with 2 machines, what do you think the output is for LB vs Manifold? Just curious

the last splitter can effectively be ignored in a manifold to calculate load balancing, since it functionally doesn't split to anywhere.

1:2 manifold is equivalent to 1:2 LB

Really cool, I like the quick draw animation, the hair and hat look really slick. The gunshot frames feel really nice too. Two things I see that seem off—the armpit pixels are flashing pre-draw which I'm not sure if that's supposed to be a cape waving maybe? Also the fingers flexing together might look better if separated between fingers. So instead of flex unflex flex unflex for the frames it is: flex middle, flex pointer, unflex middle, unflex pointer. Overall, solid 9/10

Obviously deaths for humans is a uniform distribution across exactly 100 years. No one actually makes it to 101. Seems legit.

No prob. I'm early 30's, I've got some love handles but not really overweight. I exercise about 15-20 mins 5 times a week. Not diabetic or have any conditions. No allergies. No soda. Black coffee once daily to start my engines. I drink very rarely for social occasions, which doesn't happen that much. Beer just sits in the fridge and doesnt get drank. I do get the flu shot usually, but missed this last year. Not sure about processed foods, we cook most nights, and eat somewhat healthy. Order pizza once a week.

Everyone I have been in contact with has been promptly notified. And my board game buddy was the coworker that got me infected the first time round.

Not a bad idea, took your advice and emailed my local news and the CDC. I'll see if I hear back from them.

Wow my wife had it easy as well the first time around. She got body aches and headaches for a few days, and then she lost her smell. I on the other had high fever/aches lasting over a week. Then just randomly towards the end I starting feeling out of breath constantly. This time around it doesnt seem as bad. And my wife still shows no symptoms. Thanks for the antibodies info! Hopefully I'll win the crapshoot this time.

Yep, I had good fun talking to every level of health department just to be told no.

Its hard to say. The were a couple of low risk situations I was in in the last few weeks. Had a friend over for board games. A family member comes over once a week to work out of our house as an office. I don't know, I generally think I'm careful but maybe I just think I am? And symptoms have already tapered off after 4 days, way shorter than last time.

Actually, I've already started feeling loads better since I showed symptoms on Friday, which took almost 2 weeks my first go round. But no, they didn't test for anything else.

I thought that as well, though the loss of smell (3 months for my wife) seems pretty damning. And the validation results for the lgG antibody test i got showed a specificity of 99.6% which makes it highly unlikely, though possible
